Baltimore

A short ten-minute drive from downtown Cobourg will bring you to the heart of this county escape. Sought after by those looking for the perfect country home only minutes to town, Baltimore offers a hockey arena and fantastic schools and is popular with families and retirees looking for easy access to amenities. First occupied by Irish immigrant John McCarty around 1805, the town was named after his family’s ancestral home in Baltimore, County Cork, Ireland. It is best known today for the presence of the historic Ball’s Mill, built-in 1842.
